We may be a good fit if you are someone who.....
-
Feels deeply but often feels misunderstood, unseen, or like you have to hide parts of yourself to belong
-
Has spent years adapting, people pleasing, or prioritizing others while disconnecting from your own needs and inner voice
-
Is exhausted from trying to “fix” yourself and longs to feel whole and at home within yourself
-
Knows you want something different but feels stuck in patterns that are difficult to shift
-
Wants to reconnect with your voice, your values, and create a fuller, more authentic life
Hi, I am Jaclyn Pfingsten
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I support women navigating anxiety, nervous system overwhelm, and the emotional shifts that can come with motherhood and major life transitions.
Many of the women I work with are used to pushing through, holding it together, and trying to make sure everything is okay. They may find themselves caught in cycles of overthinking, certainty-seeking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or constantly monitoring how they feel and looking outside themselves for reassurance or certainty.
Together, we work on building greater capacity to experience uncertainty, discomfort, and difficult emotions without needing to immediately fix, avoid, or control them.
My approach incorporates EMDR, somatic and body-based approaches, and parts-informed work to help you feel more grounded, connected to yourself, and able to respond rather than simply react.

Therapy for when controlling, ruminating, and planning to keep everything “safe” is taking up so much space that there’s little left for actually living
